Wellbeing helps companies attract and retain employees

What exactly does the term wellbeing mean? This English term refers to a complex state in which physical health, mental resilience and overall life satisfaction are connected. It is not merely the absence of illness or stress. Wellbeing can therefore best be described as a balance between work performance and personal life. This balance makes it possible to function in the long term without exhaustion.

Effective solutions do exist and are easier than they may seem at first glance. To prevent employee wellbeing from remaining an empty phrase, companies need to apply long-term and systematic tools. These include, for example, discreet psychological counseling. Continuous training of managers also works well. The core of success lies in open company communication. Whoever integrates the entire concept correctly into the work environment gains a significant advantage over the competition.
