- employers who are direct employers, have been operating in the Czech Republic for at least 2 years, have settled their obligations towards the state (payment of health and social insurance, taxes) and employ at least 6 employees - the full list of criteria is given in point 4 of the programme text.
Employers interested in being included in the programme should contact the relevant sponsor.
- employees who are newly recruited foreign workers who, according to the current version of the updated CZ-ISCO Classification of Occupations, will perform activities in the main classes 4-8 in the production, service or public sector (i.e.: clerks; service and sales workers; skilled workers in agriculture, forestry and fishing; craftsmen and repairers; machine and equipment operators, assemblers), and whose salary will correspond to at least 1.2 times the guaranteed wage corresponding to the relevant job group.
Applicants in the programme are guaranteed a priority deadline for applying for an employee card. The Embassy sets the deadline, informs the employer, who in turn informs his/her prospective employee (Please note: An applicant who fails to submit by the deadline must be re-enrolled.)
The programme is managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and applications for inclusion of employers in the programme are processed by individual business representations (guarantors).
